Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector I

HOURS: Monday - Friday

REPORTING: Director of Quality Assurance or Designee

POSITION SUMMARY: Verifies completion of repaired items including all final documentation and completeness of the document packages, writes Engineering Action Reports and Certificate of Conformance when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Verifies completion of repaired items including all final documentation and completeness of the document packages, writes Engineering Action Reports and Certificate of Conformance when required.
    Documents and maintains a variety of quality records related to evaluation, testing, and inspection processes for the Service Repair Center.
    Documents and maintains calibration records, customer setup files and monitors/documents lab and warehouse temperature/humidity readings for the Service Repair Center.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Knowledge of inspection methods. Ability to multi-task and interface with departments.
    Ability to lift 40 pounds.
    Ability to use a variety of hand tools and operates testing and measuring equipment.
    Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
    Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
    Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
    Ability to organize, maintain and prioritize department records and certificates as evidence of compliance to the QMS.

SALARY: $19 - $21 hourly
