Field Service Engineer I

REPORTING: Operations Management

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides product installation, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance (repairs) services on medical and industrial equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Provides product installation, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance services on assigned equipment
    Performs troubleshooting to the FRU level
    Services electro-mechanical products in the field
    Works with compliant wiring harnesses and sensitive electronic components
    Uses common field service tools including vacuum/pressure meter, frequency counter, and digital multimeter

REQUIRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

    Ability to troubleshoot to the FRU level
    Experience servicing electro-mechanical products
    Experience servicing products with compliant wiring harnesses and sensitive electronic components
    Familiar with the use of common service tools including vacuum/pressure meter, frequency counter, and digital multimeter

SECONDARY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

    Experience with optical product a plus
    Command line and PowerShell exposure preferred

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 1 year minimum listed on requisition, with field service and electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred.

TRAVEL: Up to 80%+ based on the required interview questions and field service scope.

EDUCATION: High School required per requisition.

VACCINATION: Please use standard company posting language if required for customer site access.

RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION: Candidate must have reliable transportation for field-based work.

CAR & TRAVEL EXPENSES: Reimbursed by the company, per standard Quest posting language if applicable.

TRAINING: Provided by the company.

SALARY: $24 - $29 Hourly
