Position Title: Web Developer
Department: Marketing
Position Summary:
The candidate for this position will be responsible for the development
and testing of specialized software applications using a combination of
.NET, web and other software related technologies. The candidate will also
perform the following related work as needed on internal websites for Quest:

Provide development and maintenance of all corporate web sites

Perform site optimization and monitor competitive and affiliate activity
on keywords and rankings as needed using various metric tools

Analyze effectiveness of keyword phrases with help of Marketing and
IT teams

Perform proactive submission of Quest URLs to free and paid directories
as needed
-
Maintian Open Directory listings
Integrity:

Develop sound reusable code for all applications and collaborate with other developers as needed
Analysis:

Thorough benchmarking of code
-
Ability to structure versioning
Development:
-
Working knowledge of database applications, and strong technical acumen
as applies to client server software applications

Works closely with web development team
-
Able to effectively develop GUI and front end functionality

As needed, candidate will manage SEO efforts, staying on top of best SEO practices, issues and tactics
-
Knowledge of "White Hat" versus "Black Hat" SEO a plus
Web Development Team:
-
Collaborate with internal managers to review future project milestones
in relation to application development as well as web marketing strategies

Regular feedback/meetings and departmental communication on current challenges, state of the site, and areas of opportunity
Desireable:

Knowledge of Video Display Technology and Computer Industry

Job Requirements:

One year experience in servicing customers (preferably in Industrial,
Broadcast, Medical, Computer industry, related field)

Proficiency in M/S Office, Act, and familiarity with Internet Navigation
