Position Title: Sales Manager
Department: Imaging Systems Division
Essential Functions:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
Develop and execute comprehensive sales training programs utilizing internal and external resources, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization
Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals including a quota and number of calls to be made for each sales representative
Set up a standard price structure for repair and sales price
Assign sales territory to sales representatives
Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist sales representatives in promoting sales
Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote product. Prepare a report consisting number of contacts made, number of sales leads, and number of actual sales closed from trade association meetings for Upper Management
Meet with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Seven years of professional sales experience, including a minimum of three years supervising and managing staff
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Communications, related field, or equivalent work experience
Thorough knowledge of video display technology and computer industry
Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in P.C. and related software application
Ability to organize and prioritize work, control multiple projects, and to meet deadlines
