Position Title: Field Service Engineer

Position Summary:
This position is with the ITSD (Information Technology Solutions Division) of Quest International, Inc. This particular division of Information Technology Solutions at Quest, provides computer system and LAN/WAN services to mission critical, multi-vendor, multi-site application in the Health Care, Federal Government and Defense sectors as well as Fortune 500 markets. The division's broad spectrum of IT design, procurement, project management and maintenance services, includes 24/7 managed network and systems support. We have an opening for a technical professional to function as a Customer Field Service Engineer in Irvine, CA which will assist in supporting the southern California region as well as assist in providing logistical support nationwide with other engineers. We are looking for a self-motivated, dedicated individual who is ready to put their technical skills to work in a fast-paced, customer focused environment. Utilizing your technical knowledge, you will have the responsibility of responding to customer calls in a timely and efficient manner to troubleshoot, analyze and diagnose hardware and possible software issues. Maintenance of inventory and documentation of activity will demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate that we are searching for will possesss a minimum of a High School Dipoma or GED and have a minimum of five years experience supporting HP and Dell desktops/servers as well as HP and Lexmark printers. The opportunity to have worked with Compaq/HP Proliant Server and Risc 6000 workstation wth IBM/AIX and Sun UNIX/Solaries is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, strong skills in problem solving and ability to work with attention to detail highly desirable.
